UNIVERSITY PARK — At THON’s annual Family Carnival event held on Sunday, Dec. 7, the THON Executive Committee officially unveiled the logo for THON 2026.
In a statement issued from Vraj Patel , THON’s Public Relations Media Management Director, the committee said:
“This year’s logo emphasizes that love is a catalyst for progress and direction. Love can propel us to take on journeys that we could not have taken alone. Love provides us with the strength to make positive changes with the help of others. Love is what enables a family to navigate the shared emotions that come with a cancer diagnosis. Love is found in THON in the smallest interactions between families and volunteers, up to the incredible impact of the dollars raised by our 16,500+ volunteers.
“Days like today exemplify the beauty of growing up. Every kid should have the chance to be a kid, and every parent should have the chance to see their child feeling the joys of childhood. THON aims to provide a space and a future for kids, siblings, and parents to feel free to reach any heights that they can dream of.
This year’s logo should serve as a reminder of what we can accomplish when powered by love and to carry the people we love with us in our accomplishments. The logo tells us that we are never alone in chasing our aspirations and futures, and to cherish the time we spend with those we love.
THON has grown substantially since first pairing with Four Diamonds in 1977, raising a total of $250 Million. Our collective accomplishments have helped to find innovative research breakthroughs and new solutions in care. There is still work to be done, but the love volunteers feel for family will always empower individuals to fight for a cure. THON will provide unconditional love for our families to support them in whatever stage of treatment they find themselves in. Though we do not know when we will find the cure for childhood cancer, we know as long as love leads us forward, it will be found.”
