Tractor Supply becomes top sponsor of 2025 Grange Fair

Lloyd Rogers

CENTRE HALL — If there’s one place in Centre County where rural tradition, agriculture and community spirit come together in full force, it’s the Grange Fair. And this year, Tractor Supply Company is stepping up in a big way to help celebrate and support it.

Tractor Supply has officially become the top-level sponsor of the 2025 Grange Fair, marking a major expansion of the company’s support for the iconic Centre County event.

“Tractor Supply’s mission is rooted in serving life out here, and there’s no better example of that lifestyle than the Grange Fair,” Eric Hope, representative with Tractor Supply, said. “It’s a celebration of agriculture, community and rural tradition — values that align directly with who we are as a company.”

While Tractor Supply has proudly served as the fair’s official ticket sponsor for the past two years, this year the company is taking its commitment even further.

“After I had the opportunity to give an elevator pitch on the impact and reach of the Grange Fair, the idea gained some traction,” Hope said. “That conversation helped elevate our role to the top level of fair sponsorship for Tractor Supply as well. We’re not just showing up. We’re investing in the people and the traditions that make rural life so special.”

Fairgoers will notice Tractor Supply’s presence in a big way this year. The company has secured a prime location right next to the livestock arena, where they’ll host their Stockyard Tailgate activation zone.
“We’ll be offering a number of exciting giveaways, but the real highlight is our exclusive 30-day coupon,” Hope said. “It’s designed to give real value back to our customers. Whether they’re shopping for livestock feed, pet supplies or rural lifestyle needs.”

Fair attendees can also expect to see spotlight displays from some of Tractor Supply’s most trusted brands, including 4health, DuMOR and Producer’s Pride. The booth will provide a chance to learn more about Tractor Supply’s offerings, from backyard farming to full-scale livestock care and a chance to meet the local team that serves the State College community year-round.

In addition to the booth experience, Tractor Supply is once again sponsoring fair tickets. This ticket partnership not only supports the fair itself but creates a direct connection between fairgoers and the local State College store.
“The ticket sponsorship drives people directly back to the State College store,” Hope said. “You get to come back for a chance to win a gift card. We want to see the people who are at the fair come back and shop with us at the local store.”

For Tractor Supply, the Grange Fair is more than just a marketing opportunity. It’s a way to honor and invest in the culture and community that defines rural Pennsylvania.

“Looking ahead, I hope that we can stay humble and help preserve the incredible tradition that is the Grange Fair, ensuring it remains rooted in our community and in the lives of local families for the next 100 years,” Hope said. “This fair is more than an event. It’s a generational gathering that represents everything Tractor Supply stands for.”

Hope added that this year’s partnership is just the beginning of what he envisions as a long, multi-year relationship between Tractor Supply and the Grange Fair.

“We want the community to continue seeing us as a go-to destination for everything that supports the ‘Life Out Here’ lifestyle, not just during the fair week but all year long,” he said.

One of the biggest highlights of this year’s expanded sponsorship is a very specific and tangible contribution: the renovation of the fair’s goat barn.

“During our planning conversations, we identified a need at the fair to improve the cooling and ventilation systems in the goat barn,” Hope explained. “This is a high-traffic area that’s vital to many young exhibitors and their livestock. As part of our expanded sponsorship this year, we’re proud to be contributing directly to that project.”

It’s a move that underscores Tractor Supply’s ongoing commitment to youth in agriculture.

Beyond the fairgrounds, the company also supports 4-H and FFA programs through its Paper Clover fundraising drives, as well as grants and scholarships that help the next generation of agricultural leaders.
“Whether it’s providing facilities or supporting youth in ag, Tractor Supply Company is here to stand with rural communities every step of the way,” Hope said.

Tractor Supply’s Stockyard Tailgate area promises to be one of the liveliest and most rewarding spots at the fair this year. Between the exclusive coupons, exciting giveaways, trusted product showcases and deep-rooted community engagement, the company is proving that its commitment to rural life is more than just words; it’s action.

“I can’t wait to get out to the fair and see everybody,” Hope said. “Come on by the booth and hang out with us.”
