LOCK HAVEN — Come out for a weekend of fun as the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Mackeyville welcomes the whole family for a Truck & Tractor Extravaganza on May 30 and May 31.

The gate opens at 9 a.m. both days, and there is free admission to the fairgrounds all weekend. There will be free activities as well as ticketed events, and the opportunity to bring the camper and camp overnight for a fee.

Truck and Tractor Pulls

Headlining the weekend will be truck and tractor pulls Saturday afternoon and evening at the fairgrounds pulling track, starting at 3 p.m. Organizer Steve Kerstetter says local truck pullers will start the day. Truck and tractor pulling action by the Snyder County Truck & Tractor Pullers, who host a series of truck and tractor pulling events across Central Pennsylvania, will get underway around 6 p.m.

Admission to the pulls is $10, with children 12 and under admitted free.

The tractor pulls will feature Enhanced Farm tractors, Hot Stock, and Light Pro/4.1 Limited Pro tractors.

On Sunday, Kerstetter says Bearly Controllable Pulling — a popular Pennsylvania-based garden tractor and truck pulling organization operated by Steve Yarnell and family — will feature a Lawn & Garden Tractor Pull starting at noon at the pulling track. Registration for pullers starts at 11 a.m. There will be free admission to this pulling event.
