STATE COLLEGE — The Tuscarora Wayne Mutual Foundation, the charitable foundation of Tuscarora Wayne Insurance Company, has contributed $3,000 to Kish for the Cure, Kish’s employee-led fundraising campaign benefiting local cancer-fighting organizations. The gift was made through the Kish Community Foundation, which administers charitable contributions for the campaign.
The contribution was presented at the Kish Innovation Center in Reedsville, where representatives from Kish and Tuscarora Wayne gathered to celebrate their shared commitment to strengthening the communities they serve.
“We are grateful for Tuscarora Wayne’s generous support of Kish for the Cure and the important work of our beneficiaries,” said Greg Hayes, President and CEO of Kish Bank. “Partnerships like this help extend the reach of our campaign and strengthen our efforts to make a difference for local individuals and families affected by cancer.”
Since its inception in 2012, Kish for the Cure has raised more than $728,000 for cancer-related nonprofits serving Central Pennsylvania, including a record $103,000 raised in 2025. The 2026 campaign is taking place throughout October, bringing together Kish employees, business partners, customers, and community members in the fight against cancer. Funds benefit the Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund, Pennsylvania Pink Zone, and local chapters of the American Cancer Society.
“At Tuscarora Wayne, we believe strong communities are built through partnership and service,” said Sara Sivers, Agency Relationship and Marketing Officer of Tuscarora Wayne Insurance Company. “We are honored to support Kish for the Cure and the meaningful impact it has on individuals and families throughout Central Pennsylvania. This donation reflects our shared commitment to making a difference in the communities we serve.”
