BELLEFONTE – The Win4Bellefonte ticket continues to make waves in the Bellefonte Area School District.
Multiple Bellefonte Area School District’s school board candidates are poised to be included on the ballot for the November election, according to preliminary results from the Centre County Voters’ Office.
Bellefonte Area School District had 11 candidates running for five open seats. Candidates on the Win4Bellefonte ticket earned their way onto the November ballot.
Here’s a closer look at the unofficial results:
REPUBLICAN
For the Republican ballot, the candidate with the most votes was Tim Kessling, who had a total of 1,780 votes, 1,536 of which were cast in person and 244 absentee/mail-in.
The rest of the candidates followed close behind.
Kimberly Weaver received 1,643 total votes, 1,422 in-person votes and 221 absentee/mail-in.
Patrick Vincent Buck received a total of 1,550 votes, 1,340 in-person votes and 210 absentee/mail-in votes.
Darrell Sharp had a total of 1,532 votes, 1,315 in-person votes and 217 absentee/mail-in votes.
The final individual on the Republican ballot was Jennifer N. Barnhart, who had a total of 1,494 votes, 1,313 in-person votes and 181 absentee/mail-in votes.
DEMOCRATIC
For the Democratic ballot, the candidate with the most votes was Julie Fitzgerald, who had 1,395 total votes, with 748 in-person votes and 647 absentee/mail-in votes.
Donna Smith wasn’t far behind with 1,357 total votes, 729 in person votes and 628 absentee/mail-in votes.
Paul Dombrowski had a total of 1,097 votes, 560 in-person and 537 absentee/mail-in votes
Joe Yech had a total of 1,027 votes, 552 in-person votes and 475 absentee/mail-in votes.
The last individual on the Democratic ballot was Denelle Korin, who had a total of 992 votes, 506 in-person votes and 486 absentee/mail-in votes.
