A Drug and Alcohol Recovery Symposium will be held on October 17th at Mount Nittany Middle School in State College, PA, from 10am to 2 pm. This free event is open to the public. Come learn about the disease and the recovery resources available in Central PA and enjoy FREE LUNCH. Representatives from various recovery resources in Central PA will be there to answer questions and share information about their services. There will be open conversations with people in recovery and family members of people infected with the disease from Al-Anon. Hear first-hand from their experiences what it takes to find long-term recovery, and what it is like to be a family member of someone afflicted with this disease. The Symposium is free and open to the public. Please register in advance and stay for the free lunch. The symposium is being sponsored by NCPA (North Central PA Recovery Hub) and Rule 62 Recovery and Wellness of State College PA. Rule 62 Recovery and Wellness holds various recovery meetings weekly, located at 220 Regent Court, Suite B, State College, PA 16801.
