East End Social Ribbon Cutting & Block Party Season Kickoff

Join neighbors, local businesses, and community leaders as we celebrate the official opening of East End Social—Downtown State College’s seasonal pocket park and new community gathering space.

We’ll kick things off with a brief ribbon cutting and remarks from project organizers, then roll right into the first block party of the season as Hiester Street transforms into a pedestrian-friendly space for connection, conversation, and celebration.

Throughout the evening, enjoy live entertainment, meet friends and neighbors, and take in offerings from local beverage partners in what we’re excited to share as the community’s newest “living room” downtown.
