Icon Writing / Workshop Retreat

Join us for a sacred and creative retreat experience as we explore the spiritual art of iconography with Peter Pearson, renowned iconographer, priest, and teacher.

During this retreat, participants will be guided step-by-step in writing (painting) an icon of “The Angel of the Lord.” Through prayer, reflection, and hands-on instruction, Peter will help you discover how the ancient practice of icon writing becomes a form of meditation and encounter with the divine.

No artistic experience is necessary—only a willingness to be still, open, and attentive to the Spirit’s movement. By the end of the retreat, you will take home your own completed icon, a visual prayer that reflects both beauty and grace.

The workshop/retreat will include class instruction, theology, painting and prayer.
