Artis D. Wetzel, 76 of Howard, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2021 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born on February 18, 1946, the daughter of the late Howard & Eileen Van Dyke Sample.
She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Donald R. Wetzel who she married on March 5, 1965.
Artis was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Lock Haven.
She is also survived by three daughters; Vonda Handte, Theresa Emel and Dawn Bean and one step-son; Willie Lehman and several grand and great-grand children who she loved very much. She is also survived by many half brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard with the Rev. Greg Shipe officiating. Friends and family will be received from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Tylersville Cemetery.
