Barbara Marvin Lee, 84, of State College, died Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Foxdale Village Anthony House.
Born September 30, 1941, in Tampa, FL, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy McGahey Marvin.
She is survived by three children, Courtney Lee and her husband Dan Phelan of Baltimore, MD, Cameron Lee and his husband Bob Houtz of Fitchburg, MA, and Rob Lee and his wife Tatiana of Evergreen, CO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Marvin.
She earned her nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin and her master’s degree in Sociology from Penn State University. She was the Assistant Administrator at Nittany Valley Rehab Hospital before working at South Hills Business School, both as the Academic Dean and then as a teacher of nursing before her retirement.
Private burial will be at the convenience of the family at Centre County Memorial Park.
