Brian W. Shepard, 51, of Julian, passed away at home on Monday, October 21, 2024. Born on September 27, 1973, he was the son of Michael Egolf and Eda (Cramer) Shepard.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two children, Hailee Shepard and Levi Shepard, both of Port St. Lucie, FL. Also surviving are his siblings, Ashley De Alba of El Dorado Hills, CA, Amanda Shepard of Columbus, OH, Samanda Frances Egolf of Julian, PA, and Michael Lloyd Egolf, of New York, and his nieces and nephews: Jaden De Alba, Cali De Alba, Sawyer De Alba, Nova Savanna Egolf, Saphire Francis Egolf, and Kalven Michael Kenny Smoyer.
Brian was a talented artis and a creative soul. He excelled in portrait and abstract drawing, always expressing his unique perspective through his art. He was also a dedicated gamer, consistently ranking at the top in the games that he played. Brian had a love for walking and exploring, and he found joy in sharing the discoveries he made along his adventures. He was a loving son, devoted brother, and a father who cared deeply for his two children, Hailee and Levi. Despite the distance that separated them in recent years, Brian wanted nothing more than for his children to take care of themselves and find joy in the small things that make life worth living. He faced life’s challenges with resilience and a commitment to being the best version of himself.
Funeral and burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
