Catherine Ann McGhee, 60, of Mechanicsburg, PA, previously of Lock Haven, PA, passed away at her home on May 8th, 2026.
Cathi was born in Williamsport, PA to Charles and Opal (McGhee) Moyer on March 30th, 1966. She attended high school at Williamsport High School and graduated in 1984. She went on to earn a degree in Psychology from Alvernia with the intent of assisting vulnerable individuals in rehabilitation centers. She worked in general administration for many public and private organizations; however, her proudest role was that of a mother to her four children. What brought Cathi the most joy later in her life was the happiness of those children, and her eventual grandchildren.
Cathi is survived by her children, Lyndsay (Jeff) Liedtka, Victoria (Mike) Dawkins, Channing (Sage) Maiolo, Keanno (Zoe) Maiolo, as well as her loving sister, Margaret (Phil) Pilgram. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; Tanner, Oliver, and Archer (Liedtka), Dax and Audrey (Dawkins), Finn (Maiolo), and one grandchild on the way (K. Maiolo), and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Opal Wert, Charlie Moyer, and her siblings John Moyer and Terry Moyer.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, May 16th from 3-5pm at the Faith Chapel United Methodist Church, 551 Hunter Run Rd Howard, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lock Haven YMCA, 145 E. Water Street, Lock Haven, PA. Funds will go towards Youth Sports & Programs.
