David Lee Loesch, 65, of Centre Hall, died Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Embassy At Hearthside.
Born July 17, 1955, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Samie Edward and Dorothy M Korman Loesch. On December 1, 1991, in State College, he married Lori Jean Stimely, who survives.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by two children, Jules David Loesch of State College and Xavier Dean Loesch of Centre Hall; and one brother, Charles Edward Loesch, and his partner Deborah Adams Collins of Centre Hall.
David graduated State College Area High School class of 1973 with honors. He counited his Education at Penn State University pre-med, but after 2 years, he decided to take over the family construction company.
David was part owner of Loesch Construction, Inc that he inherited from his father, Samie. Over the years, Loesch Construction went from a small family construction company that built a few homes a year to one that has built over 500 homes over the last 68 years, something he was very proud of.
He was a member of Pine Hall Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge #700, National, State, & Centre Co. Builders Association, and the CBICC.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, with a masonic service at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Friday, July 9, 2021, at the funeral home, with Reverend Susan Williamson officiating.
Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
