Edward E. “ Ed” “Eddie” Page, 75, of New Wilmington passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Ed was born in Bellefonte on December 26, 1946, the son of Eugene and Audean (Johnson) Page. On February 21, 1964 Ed married the former Evelyn E. Anderson (Page). They shared 58 years of marriage. Along with his wife, Evelyn, he is survived by his daughters, Gail (Robert) Harper of New Wilmington, Kelli (Gregory) Roan of Bellefonte; his son, Scott (Maria) Page of Statesville, NC; his sisters, Mary Zeigler, Nancy Barndt, Dorothy Page, Janet Page, Patty Bathgate, Judy Mann, Penny Zimmerman, Donna Bathurst and his brother, John Page. Ed is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed was employed by R.W. Bird trucking of Pleasant Gap for 48 years. He was a member of the Yarnell United Methodist Church. He loved the Seattle Seahawks, Penn State football, NASCAR and enjoyed hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Jay Saldana officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co., PA.
