Elizabeth A. (Sue) Narehood, 74, of Bellefonte went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on January 16, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones at home.  Born January 26, 1947 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Howard E. and June E. Tubbs of Curwensville, PA.


On May 11, 1974 she married William G. Narehood, her beloved husband who survives at home.


Sue was a 1964 graduate of Curwensville High School, attended Toccoa Falls Bible College and worked as a LPN in various capacities including home health and private duty.  She attended the Romola Bible church and was a devoted and faithful supporter of missions.  


She found her greatest joy in loving her family and raising her children in Christ.  She was the loving mother of William M. Narehood (who she is now reunited with in their eternal home); Laurie S. (Scott) Donovan and children Dylan and Liam; Jessica M. (Todd) Courtney and children Hannah and Preston; Janice M. Cassamajor and children Kurt, Makaila and Abby; Katie A. (John) Grasty and children Elijah and Andrew, and Adam S. (Jayme) Narehood and children Kierra and Kylee.  She is also survived by her two brothers Joe (Nancy) Tubbs and Dave (Sherry) Tubbs  of Curwensville and her sister Dena (George) Solley of Grampian.  


Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 12:00 Noon to 1 PM at the Cherry Corner Bible Church, 1464 Church Rd. Curwensville, PA. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor George Solley officiating. Burial will be in the Friends Cemetery, 130 McFadden Rd. Grampian, PA 16838.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Sue’s name to Romola Bible Church, 2280 Marsh Creek Rd., Howard, PA 16841.


Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg.
