Jacqueline “Jackie” L. Stoner, 60, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Thursday, May 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 27, 1965, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Phil Sunday and Janet (Alterio) Hartman, who survives at home. On August 29, 1980, she married her beloved husband, Donald “Don” Stoner, who survives at home after sharing over 45 years of marriage together. 

Jackie held several positions of employment throughout the years – working at Target, Wal-Mart, and a period of time alongside of her husband, she devoted most of her life to taking care of the home and raising her family. 

In addition to her husband, Don, she is survived by her children, Thomas Stoner (Becky), Janet Stoner, Jacqueline “Jackie” Facer, Theodore Stoner, all of Bellefonte, and Skylar Hackney (Riley) of Lock Haven, four grandchildren, and another granddaughter, Myra, on the way, one great grandchild, and several adored “grand-dogs!” Also surviving are her brothers, Randall Meyers (April) of Huntingdon, and Scott Alterio (Lisa) of Bellefonte. 

Along with her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Vance “Punk” Alterio.

Known for her loving heart and caring nature, Jackie was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. More than anything, she treasured the time that she spent with her family. 

Funeral services will be held at a later date. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
