Joyce Marie Bosak, 89, of Clarence, passed away at home on Monday, January 6, 2025. Born on December 7, 1935, in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late David and Vivian (Moore) Rees. She was married to her beloved husband, Francis “Frank” Bosak, who survives at home.
Joyce was a 1953 graduate of Cooper Township High School. She worked as a machinist for Piper Aircraft until her retirement.
In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by her five children, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her two former husbands, one sister, and seven brothers.
Joyce was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Karthaus. Additionally, she was a member of the VFW Post 2145, the American Legion Post 1171, and the Moose Lodge 1565, all in Clarence. She looked forward to the trips that her and Frank took, especially their trips to the casinos in Maryland, Harrisburg, and New York. She would always grab a few lottery tickets when she was out. She loved to read, enjoyed the occasional wine spritzer and faithfully watched The Price is Right on TV. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and leaves behind countless memories that her loved ones will hold in their heart for years to come.
Funeral and burial services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
