Kevin K. Fisher, 58, of Runville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the Milton Hershey Medical Center in Hershey. Born on March 15, 1965, in Bellefonte, he is the son of the late Donna M. (Askey) Fisher and Larry O. Fisher of Milesburg. On May 1, 2004, at the Runville United Methodist Church, he married Jennifer M. McClusick, who survives at home.
Kevin was a 1983 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He enlisted in the Army Reserves on October 10, 1991, and received his honorable discharge on June 11, 1999. He earned the rank of PV2 for his years of service. Kevin was of the Methodist faith. He worked as an Electrical Engineer Specialist at the Applied Research Laboratory for Penn State.
Kevin enjoyed watching TV, especially the Walking Dead series. He loved shopping, usually on Sundays. He was always helping his boys in their school activities. To sum up Kevin’s life would be difficult except to say he treasured his family and would do anything for them.
Kevin is survived by his wife, “Jenn”, two sons: Kaden K. Fisher and Kason M. Fisher all at home, his father, Larry, of Milesburg, one brother, Michael Fisher of Vietnam, one sister, Amy Fisher and her partner, Tina Long, of Auburn, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his mother, Kevin was preceded in death by his sister, Laurie Sue McClusick.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 3-4pm at the Bald Eagle Valley United Methodist Church, 111 Runville Rd, Bellefonte, PA 16823. (Behind Sheetz on S. Eagle Valley Road in Wingate) A memorial service will follow at 4pm at the church with Pastor Gene McCallips officiating. The burial will be private.
