Kline J. “Spike” Wolf Jr. , 71 of Howard, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 22, 2020. He was born in Lock Haven on February 27. 1949, the son of the late Kline J. Sr. and Thelma Johnson Wolf.
Spike was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany ” Class of 67 “where he was a member of the undefeated football team. He was proud to say that his football team never lost a game during his four years of high school. He would go on to play football at the collegiate level at Iowa State. He would proudly serve his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S.Army. He retired from Croda of Mill Hall after many years of service.
He was an avid hunter and loved to ride his Harley. He enjoyed snake hunting and was a member of the Little Hollow Sportsman Club, lifetime member of the Beech Creek American Legion and the 40 and 8 of Lock Haven, he was also a social member of the Howard VFW. He was also a former manager of the Rocky Point Lodge, Queens Run.
His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and friends.
Spike is survived by his wife Pamela K. Pierson whom he was united in marriage on June 21, 2014. Also surviving are three sons; Neil J. Wolf of North Carolina, Jeromy J. Wolf (Candy) of Lock Haven, and Mason R. McCauley of Howard, three daughters; Amy Annegan-Arce (Willie) of Erie, Morgan P and Madison K. McCauley both of Howard, two sisters; Diane Blaschak (John) of Mifflinburg and Barb Randecker (Jim) of Lewisburg, six grandchildren; Anthony Maldonado, Catheriine Arce, Montana, Hunter, Katelynn and TJ Wolf two great-granddaughters; Alivia Maldonado and Isabella Wolf and his two faithful canine companions Tyson and Dillon. He was preceded in death by a brother Pete Wolf.
A memorial celebration of life service will be held at later date and will be announced.
