Myra N Dukeman

Myra N. Dukeman, 91, of Spring Mills, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Born on August 8, 1929 in State College, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Myra (Treaster) Weaver. 

Myra worked at Hanover Foods as a lead floor lady, doing inspections and various quality control. She retired from Hanover Foods in 1993, after 34 years of service.  

Myra was a previous member of the Brethren in Christ Church in Colyer. She was an avid reader, loved to cook, and watch cooking shows on TV. She was always willing to tell you a story if you were willing to listen. Those that love her would tell you she was one of the most caring and generous people you would meet, and she always put family first.  

Myra is survived by her son, Michael W. Dukeman of Spring Mills; three grandchildren, Jennifer Burns and her husband, Kevin, of Hinesville, GA, Michael H. Dukeman and his wife, Renane, of Centre Hall, and George Ishler of PA; and three great grandchildren, Sage Burns, Alayna Dukeman, and Hunter Dukeman.

Along with her parents, Myra was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda J. (Dukeman) Goshkey of Delaware and nine siblings. She was the last of her generation.

Following Myra’s wishes, there will be no services.
