On February 22, 1977 at 10:02 AM, God gave to Lester A. and Marilyn C. Weaver of Aaronsburg, PA a wonderful gift. He was named Adam Robert Elmer Weaver (after his Grandfathers). His soul and spirit returned to God on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 9:03 PM from Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.
On October 1, 2005, he married his friend and kindred spirit, Jessica Louise Nale of Barrville, who survives in Centre Hall. He is also survived by his brother, Jonathan A Weaver and sister-in-law, Stacie and nephews, Chase and Jakob, of Connellsville, PA, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William B. and Amy L. Nale of Barrville and his sister-in-law, Samantha E. Nale of Barrville, his grandparents, Robert and Caroline Clarke of Wynnwood House, Centre Hall, PA and Madeline M. Weaver of Centre Hall, PA. His grandfather, Elmer Weaver, preceded him in death on December 31, 1999. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Ronald and Noreen Weaver of Bellefonte and their children, his cousins, Jereme Clarke Weaver of Tyrone and Megan L Collins of Louisville, KY and his aunt, Harriet Weaver of Harrisburg, PA (his Uncle Lewis Weaver, who he never knew, preceded him in death on February 20, 1969) and their children, his cousins, Steven Weaver of State College, PA, Glenda Weaver Bell, Richard Weaver, Douglas Weaver, and Anne Weaver Morrow of Harrisburg, PA, and many loving second cousins and friends.
He attended Penns Valley Area Schools where he was graduated in 1995. He also attended South Hills Business School where he was graduated in 2003. Many of you may have come in contact with his kind and courteous ways at his employers, Burkholders Country Market, Millheim, PA and Weis Markets (Allentown, Bellefonte, Westerly Parkway, Martin Street and Hills Plaza) where he was in management. He was a hard worker and always willing to lovingly and patiently show his customers where they could find what they were looking for at the markets. Adam had no idea how many lives he touched through his work and his illness.
The nurses, aides, and doctors at Geisinger Medical Center, Special Care Unit 3, became part of our extended family and we will always be grateful to them for the love and care they extended to Adam in the 46 days he spent there with them. We thank all those who have been praying for Adam through his three month battle with cancer. The number of you he led to God in prayer for his healing is awesome and overwhelming and is a testimony to his life. Please keep your relationship with God alive and well in honor of his life.
A Friends and Family Gathering will be held at Heintzelman’s Funeral Home, 226 South Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, PA on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6 to 9 PM.
