Audrey Roan Francis, 80 of Hollidaysburg formerly of Bellefonte, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Lutheran Home in Hollidaysburg. The was born on October 22, 1929 in Bellefonte. The daughter of the late Fred and Grace (Williams) Roan.
After her parent's death when she was young, she and her sister were raised by her Aunt and Uncle- Dr.Nevin and Catherine (Williams) Jodon. Dr. Jodon and Audrey's sister Freda both preceded her in death.
Audrey married Robert Francis on September 15, 1979. She is survived by a son and 3 daughters; Claudia and her husband Ken Wolford of Zion, Pa., Rick Brown and his partner Bob Stockwell of White Lake, MI, Nancy and her husband Larry Stultz of Millerstown, Pa., and Lisa and her husband Mike Carey of Springfield, VA.
Bob and Audrey were blessed with having 6 grandchildren; Stacy Allen and husband Rich of South Milwaukee, WI, Andrew Myers and wife Jessica of Phoenix, AZ, and Isabella Croyle of Fairmont, WV.
Audrey was also preceded in death by her dear dogs; Sheba, Cassie and Carley.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local SPCA or German Shepherd, Sheltie or Rottweiler Rescue.
