Bernadette M. McMahon, 72, of State College, PA died Friday, October 2, 2015 at her residence.
Born April 5, 1943, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Mary (Hopkins) Maguire.
After raising four children she went to college and received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Corning Community College and started a career in nursing.
Bernadette worked at Norristown State Hospital, Horsham Clinic, PA, and Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL.
She enjoyed gardening and the beach as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters; Bernadette McMahon Adair (James), of State College, Teresa McMahon, of Quakertown, PA, two sons; Francis McMahon (Jillian), of San Diego, CA, Patrick McMahon, of Philadelphia, PA, six grandchildren; Brian and Patrick Adair of State College PA, Rianna and Kane McMahon of San Diego, CA, and Alex and Caitlin Bureher of Quakertown, PA, three sisters; Patricia McShane(John), of Ponte Vedra. FL, Eileen Undorfer(Francis), of Harleysville, PA, Barbara Solly (David), of Plano, TX, two brothers; Brian Maguire(Kathy), of Sea Isle City, NJ, and Kevin Maguire (Mark Hill), of St. Augustine, FL.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
