Bonnie G. Lucas, 67, of rural Bellefonte, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, College Township, Centre County.
Born December 16, 1945 in Lock Haven, Bonnie was the daughter of the late James and Betty Shaffer Kellerman.
Bonnie was a secretary for Fullington Trailways Bus Company of Bellefonte. She was of the Protestant Faith.
She is survived by her former husband, Kenneth E. Lucas; two daughters, Barbara Lucas (Jess), of Julian and Amy (Chris) Miller, of Zion; one son, Jeffrey (Susan) Lucas, of Bellefonte; one sister, Glenda (Frank) Kelley, of Milesburg; five grandchildren, Heather (Brandon) Zimmerman, of Snow Shoe, Kelli Jo Lucas, of Snow Shoe, Brandon Coakley, of Julian, Rachelle Miller, of Zion and Kerston Miller, of Zion; and one great grandchild, Haiden Zimmerman, of Snow Shoe. Also surviving is one niece, Ginger Armstrong, of West Virginia; and a brother-in-law, Dale Hedrick of West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Hedrick.
Services will be held at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home 201 Spring St., Milesburg on Friday, November 22, 2013, at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Robert “Bo” King officiating. Family and friends will be received Friday, November 22, 2013, from 10 a.m. 12:00 noon time of the services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Bellefonte VFW Ladies Auxiliary, 121 S. Spring St., P.O. Box 1, Bellefonte, PA 16823. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg.
