Bonnie S. Barner, 52, of Howard, passes away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born on December 18, 1964, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Harry N. and Janet P. Emel Barner.
Bonnie was a 1984 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. She was employed as a driver for Predator Trucking Company in Bellefonte. She was a member of the Freedom Life Church in Milesburg.
Bonnie enjoyed being with her family, especially her granddaughter, Andrea. She loved driving. She looked forward to spending time with her K9 companion, Zeus.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Chrystal P. Barner and her companion, Jeremy Waddell of Milesburg, and five siblings; Joyce A. Hoffman and her husband, John, of Marsh Creek, Cindy M Snyder of Julian, Harry N. Barner and his wife, Carol, of Oil City, Earl W. Barner and his wife, Mel, of North Dakota, and Barbara K. Ishler and her husband, Jeff, of Atlanta, GA, and one step brother, John Friend of Spring Hill, FL. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Andrea Waddell of Milesburg.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 9-11am at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home in Howard. Memorial service will be at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Jen Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow at Schenck’s Cemetery in Howard Twp.
