Carol L. Stull, 71, of Rural Spring Mills, died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center at State College, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 4, 1944 in Reedsville, a daughter of the late Sherman E. and Isabel Henry King.
Carol was a 1962 Graduate of Kishacoquillas High School. In 1963 she graduated from Emil’s Beauty School in Lancaster, and worked at several beauty shops before opening her own in 1974.
She especially enjoyed reading and was an avid Elvis fan. She was associated with the protestant faith.
On February 7, 1965, She married Albert L. Stull, who survives at home. Also surviving is her son Hugh D. Stull (Elizabeth), beloved granddaughter Emma May Stull, brother Theodore L. King, sister Irma J. King, sisters-in-law, Nelda Johnson (Shenley), and Charlotte Lucas, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Lloyd E. King, infant brother Sherman King and brother-in law Raymond Lucas.
Friends will be received from 6 -8 p. m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. The funeral will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the funeral home with the Reverend Laura King officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Reformed Church Cemetery Route 45 near Spring Mills.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
