Christopher D. Stolte, 32, of Bellefonte, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his residence.
Born on April 4, 1980 in State College, he is a son of Albert E. Stolte and Patricia E. Burns of Shingletown.
On November 20, 2010 in State College, he was married to Carol M. (Husband) Stolte, who survives at home.
He was a 1998 graduate of State College Area Delta Program, was an alum of the State College Friends School, and had attended Penn State University.
Christopher was employed as a Courier with FedEx in State College.
Raised in Shingletown, he loved the outdoors and was considered a family man.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by one son, Emmet Donald Stolte at home; one step-son, Casey Bernard Corso at home; one sister, Elizabeth S. McGinty and her husband Schaunne of The Netherlands; his mother and father in law, Martha and Donald Husband of Newark Valley, NY; his friends who he considered brothers, Patrick Stover, Simon Burns, Chuck Hamm, Ian Rosensteel, and Cory Watts; and his godfathers, Stuart Lehmann and Dave Herrman.
All are welcomed to attend a Visitation from 6:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Services celebrating Christopher’s life at 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Christ Community Church, 200 Ellis Place, State College with Pastor Mitch Smith officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
