Colleen Perrin Edwards, 87, of State College passed away at Juniper Village at Brookline, on Monday, May 9, 2016.
Colleen was born on March 16, 1929, in San Francisco, Calif., a daughter of the late David Octavius and Eva Lena Lane Perrin.
On May 29, 1954, she married Jack Richard Edwards who preceded her in death in October, 1992.
Colleen is survived by two sons, James Clifford Edwards MD, PHD, FACP, of State College and Lt. Col. J.D. Edwards, U.S.A.F. (Retired) of High Rolls, N.M.; and one brother, Wallace Floyd Perrin, PHD, of Vallejo, Calif.
Colleen was employed at ManPower for Temporary Job Services. She was a member of St. Albans Anglican Church in Pine Grove Mills. She enjoyed painting, gardening, cooking, sewing, pottery and ceramics.
Family and friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. time of the services. Funeral Services for Colleen will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Albans Anglican Church, 146 Pine Grove Mills Road, Pine Grove Mills, with Bishop Council Nedd II officiating. Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery, Boalsburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either the Special Operators Warriors Foundation, PO Box 89367, Tampa FL 33689 or the Penn Eta Chapter Daniel J. McGinnis Fund in the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, 300 South Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23220.
