Crystal D. “Estright” Wetzel, beloved wife, loving mother and good friend to many, passed unexpectedly from this life on Friday, November 16, 2018 as a result of a car accident. She was 36. Born July 30, 1982 in State College, Crystal was a daughter of Gary D. Waite and Goldie A. Estright who survive. She was a 2000 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. Crystal was employed at the State College Federal Credit Union as an Account Representative.

On June 13, 2008, she married the love of her life, Brian Wetzel, who survives at their home along with two daughters, Taylor and Payton Wetzel. Also surviving is one brother, Jason King and his wife Heather of State College Crystal was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Reuben and Priscilla Waite, and maternal grandparents, Alfred L. and Ida B. Estright.

Crystal was actively involved in community activities. She was a member of the Millheim Fire Company where she assisted willingly at many functions. She supported her young daughters in many activities including coaching a youth twirling group, girls volleyball, youth cheerleading and T-ball and Little League baseball games. Crystal was always willing to lend a hand where needed and did it with a smile. She loved prim decorating, Grange Fair, and Penn State and Steeler football, but perhaps most of all she loved spending time with her family camping.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 21st from 9 am -1 pm at New Hope Lutheran Church, Rte 45, Spring Mills. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Crystal will be laid to rest in Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Aaronsburg. Contributions in memory of Crystal may be given to the Millheim Fire Company, Po Box 656, Millheim, PA 16854 or to Steven R.
