Daniel “Bear’ ‘Dano” Bennett Pollock, 48, of Bellefonte, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 in State College. He was born March 18, 1969, in York, PA.
Daniel's dream job began as a truck driver until an injury restricted him. Later, he started working as a Night Auditor at the Sleep Inn, State College. He loved meeting new people and was always the person who would help someone in need; a great man who was friendly to everyone.
Dano loved the outdoors and spending time with his friends. He was an avid reader of western novels, and a collector of grizzly bears. He also appreciated all music genres.
He is survived by his life mate, Billy Jo Williams who survives at their home in Bellefonte; two daughters, Rachel Jo Pollock of Bellefonte, Laurie Packer and her husband Nikolas of Bellefonte; two sons, Deven Walk of Bellefonte and Benjamin of State College; two brothers, Jim Pollock of Bellefonte, Dan Pollock of Gaithersburg, MD; one sister, Kelly Dymond and her husband Karl of Wilkes-Barre, PA; one granddaughter, Avery Packer and numerous nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by his brother Ernie Pollock and uncle Dwyane Woodring.

Friends will be received from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m, Friday, August 18, 2017, at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
