Obituary of Doris Robinson, 81

Doris E. Robinson, 81, of Milesburg went home to be with her Lord, Monday, September 10, 2012. She was born in Runville, January 11, 1931 the daughter of the late John William and Jenny E. Witherite Shawley Doris had worked in Food Services at BEA Boggs Township Elementary School for 15 years, C-Cor Electronics. She also had a cleaning service and had worked at Kids Kingdom Daycare. Doris was a member of Living Faith Church in Milesburg. She was a 1949 graduate of Bellefonte High School. Many of her most cherished moments were while visiting with her immediate family and her church family. Her former husband of 33 years, Kenneth W. Robinson preceded her in death November 12, 2007. She is survived by one daughter; Barbara Robinson Weaver of State College and one son, Stanley Glenn (Shawnee) Robinson of rural Howard; three sisters; Dorothy Garbrick of Zion, Martha Reese of Milesburg and Shirley (Plummer) Davidson of Milesburg; one brother, John (Colleen) Shawley of Yarnell. Doris is also survived by six grandchildren; Angela Robinson Bechdel, Bobbi Jo Robinson (Joshua) Green, Zachary (Kacie) Robinson, Jordan (Erin) Robinson, Claire Weaver and David Weaver III. and eight great grandchildren; Arika Robinson, Owen Bechdel, Tess Bechdel, Rilee Bechdel, Kennedy Robinson, Kelton Robinson, Danika Robinson and Elijah Robinson; and one great great grandchild; Ember Robinson. Doris is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister; Verda Coakley; 2 brothers; Dean Shawley and David Shawley; two great grandchildren; Wayland Bechdel and Chayton Ty Robinson. Funeral Services will be held at the Living Faith Church, 113 Sunset Acres Drive, Milesburg, Pa. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor William Smith officiating. Friends will be received at the Living Faith Church on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in the Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co., Pa.
