Ellen B. Davidson, 81, of Bellefonte, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Centre Crest, Bellefonte. Ellen was born on July 7, 1932, in Boggs Township, Centre County. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Bumgardner Brown.
On June 25, 1950, she married Robert W. “Bill” Davidson, who preceded her in death March 12, 1986. Ellen was employed by the Bald Eagle Area School District for 32 years before her retirement as a cook. She attended the Bald Eagle Valley Community United Methodist Church in Wingate.
She is survived by one daughter, Marcella D. Crestani; four sons, Plummer Davidson and his wife, Shirley, Robert Davidson and his wife, Suzanne, Michael Davidson and his wife, Judy and Patrick Davidson and his companion, Beverly Burris; one sister, Alice Bloom, of Bellefonte; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Young and Emma Kunkle; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Davidson; her great grandson, Justin Crestani; Warren Schreckengast, her beloved companion of 21 years; and her son-in-law, Joseph Crestani III.
