Faye L. Zimmerman, 87 of Pleasant Gap, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her home. She was born on October 1, 1929 in Hublersburg, Pa. the daughter of the late Charles and Cora Fisher Vonada.
On June 23, 1947 she married Donald R. Zimmerman in Snydertown, he preceded her in death on November 27, 2012.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pleasant Gap. She loved knitting and crocheting.
Faye is survived by a daughter; Carol L. (Franklin) Parkes of Bellefonte, a son; Marlin R. (Monica) Zimmerman also of Bellefonte, five grandchildren; Tammy Graves, Joann Ruble, Franklin E. Parkes II, Corina Bressler, and Charles Zimmerman and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard with the Pastor Sarah Kim officiating. Burial will be at the Hublersburg Cemetery.
