Florence "Toot" M. Koch, 92, of Boalsburg, died Feb. 11, 2010, at the Fairways at Brookline Village. Born March 20, 1917, at McAlevys Fort, she was the daughter of the late James G. and Nannie Keller Koch.
Florence was a 1935 graduate of Boalsburg High School. She was Quality Control Inspector for Kerr Glass Company and Armstrong Cork Company in Lancaster, retiring in 1982. She was Lutheran by faith.
Florence is survived by her daughter-in-law, Cindy Koch of Boalsburg; three nieces, Laura Kay Dorman and her husband, David J., Nancy Walls and her husband, Ron, and Shirley Cooper; and a nephew, Fred G. Koch. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, James G. Koch on Jan. 11, 2006, a brother, Fred G. Koch, and two sisters, Sarah J. Lucas and Laura K. Stover.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Her funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Brent Book officiating. Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
