Frank Neshteruk Jr., 60, of Centre Hall, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014, at his home. Born on July 23, 1953, in Bellefonte, he was the son of Pearl (Brown) Neshteruk, who survives in Port Matilda. He married Betty (Tallon) Neshteruk, who survives at home.
Frank retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon w/ numeral 2 and 8000 Mile Safe Driving Award. He and also retired from State College Area School District in 2013.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons; William and Nathan Copeland, by three sisters; Penny Riglin, Paula Neshteruk, Pam Loftus and one brother, Rex Neshteruk. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Alyssa and Olivia Copeland.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Neshteruk and one nephew, DJ Flood.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 24, 2013 from 10:30am until 11:30 am at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, with a celebration of life to immediately follow at 11:30 am with Pastor Korn officiating.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
