Gloria Dawn Wiggins, 54, of Bellefonte, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born Dec. 10, 1955, in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of Jane C. Kustenborder Yakich of Bellefonte and the late Frank E. Yakich. On Dec. 23, 1976, she married James P. Wiggins, who survives.
Gloria was a graduate of Bellefonte High School. She was a caregiver in private homes. She was a member of the Bellefonte Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was very involved in her ministry to people and was known for her love for people and animals, especially dogs.
Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by a sister, Cathryn McGonigal and her husband, Jerry, of Pleasant Gap.
A Memorial Talk will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Kingdom Hall at Myrtle and Water Streets, Bellefonte, with James T. Quici officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to James P. Wiggins, 378 E. Curtin St., Bellefonte, PA 16823. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College.
