Obituary of James E. Miller

James E. Miller, 59, of rural Julian, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. He was born June 19, 1951, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., son of the late David E. "Buck" and Pearl "Rose" Gilliland Miller, Jr. Jim was the Manager of Juniata Valley Rail Road in Lewistown. Jim attended Fleming Free Methodist Church. He was a 1969 Graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He was a member of F.O.P. Lodge #51, he was past BEA Booster Club President, and was the past BEA Wrestling Club Treasurer he was also an avid BEA Wrestling Supporter. He also enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren. He is survived by his wife the former Gail Bartley at home. They were married April 12, 1969. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Sandra D. (Scott) Balboni, of Centre Hall, Amy M. (Bradley) Bressler, of Spring Mills, and Lori A. (Steven) Millward, of rural Julian; one sister, Faline Kauffman of Palmyra; two brothers, David G. Miller, of Milesburg and Michael A. Miller, of rural Howard; four grandchildren, Hailee Wingard, Gabriel Millward, Abigail Bressler and Jackson Millward; and two step grandchildren, AJ Balboni and Taylor Balboni. Friends will be received Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, from 6-9 p.m. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Pa. and from 10-11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at the funeral home. Services will follow Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Hargenrader and Rev. Edwin Irwin officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Twp., Centre Co., Pa.
