Jessica Smith, Johnson McClintic, 63, of Boalsburg, passed away to our Lord and Savior, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at her home.

Born June 2, 1946, in McKeesport, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry Dean and Helen (Schur) Smith.

On August 28, 1994, she married Gary R. McClintic, who survives at home.

She was a graduate of the Penns Valley Area High School where she played in the band and was a cheerleader.

Jessica was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg, where she was an active church council member, WELCA, and was active in sending letters to the shut ins.

She worked at Veronica’s Spa as a receptionist and a manicurist, she also volunteered at the hospital.

Among all things she was a great mother, wife and a fantastic grandmother. She was completely dedicated to her family and friends, she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by us all.

Jessica McClintic is survived by her husband, Gary; two sons: Lanny Johnson and his wife Kim and Kenneth Dean Johnson and his wife Suzie; two step-sons: Eric McClintic and his wife Cindy and Douglas McClintic and his wife Jennifer; three grandchildren: Logan, Leah and Paige Johnson; three step-grandchildren: Mitchell, Wyatt and Thomas McClintic; two sisters; Gerry Ilgen and her husband Marty and Jacqueline Price and husband Fred; one brother John D. Smith and his wife Marieta; she is also survived by nieces and nephews: Sherri Taylor, Marcy Aument, Matt Ilgen, Selena, Joshua and Jake Price, Brett, Brian and Kurt Michelotti.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Georganna Michelotti.

Friends will be received Thursday, September 10, 2009, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg with a memorial service immediately following at the church.
