John Wesley Williams, 69, of Bellefonte, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. A son of Evelyn (Snavely) Williams, who survives in Bellefonte, and the late Jesse Williams, he was born on January 24, 1944, in Woodward. He was married to the former Alice Emert, who survives at home.
John was a 1962 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. He worked in the construction industry. He was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sisters, Debra Langford, of Florida, Mona Bowmaster, of Bellefonte, and two brothers, Jesse and David Williams, both of Maryland.
A public visitation will be held Sunday evening, September 15, 2013, from 6-8 P.M., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc, 206 N. Spring St, Bellefonte, PA 16823. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 16, 2013, at 11:00 A.M., at the funeral home, with Pastor Rob Tevis officiating. Burial will follow in Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
