Going home to be with The Lord, Joseph H. Klinger, 77, of Milesburg, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1934, in Houserville, the son of the late John and Marjorie Smith Klinger. On July 24, 1953, he married the former, Donna F. "Sis" Caldwell Klinger. Mrs. Klinger survives at home. He had worked as a laborer for Abramson Salvage and for Les Confer. He was of the Protestant Faith. He is survived by one daughter, Kammy K. Klinger, of Bellefonte; six sons, Joseph H. Klinger, Steven W. Klinger, Timothy A. Klinger, Kenneth B. Klinger, Alan J. Klinger, all of Bellefonte and Howard L. Klinger, of Runville; one sister, Deloris Crust, of Bellefonte; one brother, James R. Klinger, of rural Bellefonte; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mickey L. McMonagle; two sisters, Jane Cox and Ann Possien; and two brothers, John L. Klinger, and Charles William "Bill" Klinger. Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg. Burial and services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation.
