Obituary of Judy Witherite (Packer), 76

Judy D. Witherite, 76, of rural Bellefonte, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Bush Hollow on November 26, 1942, the daughter of the late James O. and Ruth Dubbs Packer. She married Wayne A. Witherite who preceded her in death in 2009. Judy retired from Centre Crest as a Dietary Supervisor. She was a graduate of the Bald Eagle High School. She was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, gardening, baking and especially spending time with her family.

Judy is survived by her seven daughters, Jeanne (Ricky) McKinley of Bush Hollow, Nadine (David) Richards of Yarnell, Shelley (Mike) Miller of Howard, Jody (Dave) Knoffsinger of Zion, Justine Witherite (Fiance', Barry McCloskey), Ada (Rick) Summers of Rebersburg, Tammy (Fiance' Denny Shaw) Witherite of Bellefonte, and her son, Wayne A. (Hope) Witherite II of Madisonburg. Also surviving are her sisters, LeMoyne Butler of Moose Run and Stephanie Packer of Fleming.

Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring Street, Milesburg, Pa. on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor N. Titus Stracener officiating. Burial will be in the Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp, Centre Co., Pa.
