Obituary of June A. Walizer, 93

June A. Walizer, 93 of Howard, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College.

She was born on July 2, 1923 in Jacksonville, Pa, the daughter of the late Willard & Ruby Frazier Yearick. On February 16, 1943 she married Ralph Walizer who preceded her in death on June 16, 2008.

She was a seamtress for Woolrich for many years at both the Howard and Blanchard facilities.

June was a member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Jacksonville.

She is survived by two sons; James of Howard and Scott (Cindy) Walizer of Zion, one daughter; Sharon Darrell “Ed” Eminhizer of Milesburg, one brother; George (Patricia) Yearick of Towanda, Pa., one sister; Ethel (Harold) Fisher of Murphy, N.C., six grandsons; Terry & Darren Eminhizer, Jamey (Beth) & Dustin (Jessica) Walizer, Casey & Toby Walizer and one great-grandson; Zobie Walizer. She was preceded in death along with her husband one brother Homer Yearick.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard with the Pastor Cindy Killinger and Ken Yearick officiating. Friends and family will be received from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at the Jacksonville Cemetery.
