Karen L. Reed, age 46, of Bellefonte, died Friday, November 22, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, College Twp.
Karen was born on May 6, 1967, in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Joseph E. Laubscher of Beech Creek and the late Carol Gingerich.
She worked for Mark's Repairs and was of the Protestant Faith. Karen enjoyed playing Bingo, collecting Indians and riding motorcycles.
Also surviving are her step-father Larry Gingerich of Bellefonte and her step-mother Relda Laubscher, also of Beech Creek; two daughters, Kelly J. Laubscher and Kasey J. Laubscher, both of Bellefonte; four brothers, Calvin Stover, Jr. of Beech Creek, William Stover of Beech Creek, Brian Stover of Mill Hall and Joseph E. Laubscher, Jr. of Beech Creek; seven sisters, Sherry Stover of Beech Creek, Ann Brunner of Howard, Kathy Wolfe of Julian, Shelia Caddell of Swissdale, Bobbi Jo Moses of Villariga, GA, Nonnie Lynn Brown of Ranburne, AL, Wendi Gingerich of Bellefonte, and a step-sister, Celeste Heaton of Lock Haven; and three grandchildren, Sophia Laubscher, Sanessa Cowder and Braylyn Boob.
Service will be Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 8:00 p.m. at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg with Pastor Stephen Hicks officiating. Family and Friends will be received Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., time of services. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
