Kathryn L. Masullo, 79, of Bellefonte, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on October 29, 1932, in Spring Township, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus & Sally (Syler) Schaffer. She married Joseph A. Masullo who preceded her in death on September 7, 2004.
She attended the Bellefonte School System.
Kathryn was a homemaker; she especially enjoyed cooking for her family & friends & perfecting the Masullo family recipes.
She is survived by one son, Joseph Masullo (Brenda) of Bellefonte, her grandson, Daniel Masullo (Nicole) of Bellefonte and great grandchildren: Katie & Mason Masullo. Also surviving is one brother, William Schaffer of Bellefonte.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by ten brothers & sisters & one sister-in-law, Shirley Schaffer.
Visitation will be private at the convenience of the family.
A public graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 2:00 pm at Zion Union Cemetery in Walker Township with Pastor Anne Smith officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
