Kenneth E. Shuey, of Howard passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 5, 1936 in Pleasant Gap. He was the son of the late William & Helen Gettig Shuey.
He married Charlotte Lucas who preceded him in death 8 years ago,
Ken was a correction officer at Rockview retiring after many years of service.
He was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church. Upon retiring he began his own antique buying and selling. He really enjoyed the relationships built doing this.
Ken is surivved by two daughters; Denise (Robert) Rohrbach of Allentown and Shelly (Joel) Weaver of Lock Haven, one brother; Dean (Barbara) Shuey of Pleasant Gap, two grandchildren; Brian (Laurie) and Jennifer Rohrbach, and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mark Lutheran Church with the Pastor Kevin Shock officiating. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombmentl will be at the Centre Co. Memorial Park in State College.
