Lillian D. Crisinger, 86, of Lock Haven, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Susque-View Nursing Home. Born on August 28, 1927, in Monument, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Freda Butler. She was married to Robert Crisinger, who died on October 3, 1999.
Lillian attended the Blanchard Church of Christ and the Mill Hall Church of Christ. She owned and operated her own hair salon, worked at Sylvania, Erie Technology, Piper Aircraft, and retired from C-Corp. She then worked part-time at McDonalds in Lamar and operated her own greenhouse, Crisinger’s Greenhouses.
Lillian enjoyed working in her gardens and being in the outdoors. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Lillian is survived by her son, Robert Crisinger, II and his wife, Debra of Mill Hall, two granddaughters; Monica L. Long and her husband, Mark and Shawna R. Meighan and her husband, James. Also surviving are her four great grandsons, Chase A. & Pierce Long, and Mitchell R. & Evan J. Meighan; three brothers and one sister.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 4, 20114 from 1-2pm at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main St. Howard. Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Janice Heiser officiating. Burial will follow at Schenck’s Cemetery, Howard Twp.
