Lloyd C. Nyman Jr., 60 of Mill Hall, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Lock Haven Hospital. He was born in Lock Haven on August 21, 1952 the son of the late Lloyd Nyman Sr. and Lois Nyman who survives in Blanchard.

Lloyd married Diana Forney on January 20, 1990 who survives at home.

He was a mechanic supervisor over 15 years with Penn Dot and was a self-employed farmer, and had farmed all his life. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1974 serving in Germany.

He graduated from the Lock Haven High School in 1970. He graduated in 1977 from Williamsport Area College with a diesel mechanic certification. He also received a aviation mechanic certification prior to that from Williamsport Area College.

He was a member of the Flemington 1st Church of Christ where he served on the church board. He was also a member of the Clinton Co. Fair Association where he also served on the board. He was also a member of the Beech Creek American Legion.

He enjoyed farming, hunting and going to camp, but above all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his children whom he loved very much.

Along with his wife and mother he is survived by three daughters; Lindsey and husband Chris Aikens of Howard, Heidi and Charmaine "Beth" Nyman both of Mill Hall, one brother; Mike and wife Wanda of Howard, two sisters; Elaine and husband Will Kern of Mifflintown, and Barbara Nyman of Blanchard, two grandchildren; Aleck and Kayla and his faithful dog Arthur.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Flemington 1st Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Mill Hall with Pastor Mark Riley officiating, there will be a public visitation Friday, October 12, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Church. Burial will be at the Romola Cemetery.
