Lorrie Lee Gummo Gentzel, 45, of Milesburg, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, in Bellefonte.
She was a daughter of Linda May Watson Gummo of Bellefonte and the late Robert Thomas Gummo. She was surrounded by her loving family before entering into God 's Kingdom with the guiding hand of her father. Lorrie was a 1984 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. She was of the Protestant faith.
Lorrie loved spending time with her family and really enjoyed the holidays. She always found peace with the ocean. She loved to cook and take pictures. She also loved dragonflies. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Lacie A. McCulley and her husband, Linn, and Kiaia R. Cole, both of Milesburg; two sisters, Tracy Ramish and her husband, Andrew, of Bellefonte and Marie Smitchko and her husband, Doug, of Clarence; a brother, Donald Gummo, of Julian; and two grandchildren, MaKayla LeeAnn McCulley and Bailey E. Kline. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Jesse and Joshua Ramish, Robert Gummo, and Hunter and Katelyn Smitchko.
Friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at the funeral home, with Pastor Robert "Bo" King officiating. Burial will be in Advent Cemetery, Boggs Township.
