Margaret L. Lutz, 87, of Pleasant Gap, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014, at the Hearthside. A daughter of the late Harry and Harriet (Baird) McClellan, she was born on August 3, 1927, in Milesburg. She was married to Warren Lutz, who preceded her in death.
Margaret was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. She was a homemaker and the owner operator of The Lullaby Children’s Shop in Pleasant Gap, and had been a book keeper for A. N. Yearick Garage. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and the Logan Grange.
Her survivors include two daughters; Elaine Musser of Mechanicsburg, Melissa Lutz of Bellefonte, two sons; Darren Lutz (Cathy) of Bellefonte, Jay Lutz (Bobbette) of Dover, DE, eight grandchildren; Joseph, Amanda and Dain Yakich, Michael, Catelyn, Christopher and Erich Lutz, Theresa Swank, along with five great grandchildren; Warren and Autumn Yakich, Avery Skye Lutz, Daniel Lutz and Sean Swank.
In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by one brother, Mark McClellan, four sisters; Anna Wolfe, Jean Glasgow, Marie Bryan and an infant sister Ruth.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 2, 2014, at 2:00 PM, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 160 N. Main St. Pleasant Gap, PA 16823, with Rev. Kevin Shock officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
