Obituary of Marian E.Confer Dean, 64

Marian E. Dean, 64, of Madisonburg, passed from this life on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Marian, a daughter of the late Russell B. and Evelyn F. Strickler Confer, was born in Renovo on April 15, 1949. She was a graduate of Penns Valley Area High School. Marian was employed at the Bryce Jordan Center in the custodial department. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, doing word search, flower gardening and she especially loved talking with people.

Marian is survived by two sons, Richard Robson, Sr. of Millheim and Daniel Robson of State College; siblings, Shirley Fleisher of Lock Haven, Bernadine Gilbert (Joe) of Boalsburg, Russell "Jim" Confer (Gail) of Rebersburg and Linda Mercer also of Rebersburg. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Richard, Cameron and Mason . Marian was preceded in death by one brother, Robert.

Family and friends will be received from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 with Rev. Valerie Delooze officiating. Marian will be laid to rest in the Evangelical Cemetery in Rebersburg. Contributions in memory of Marian may be given to The American Society, 123 S.
